RETHINKING THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM
About the Flipped Classroom Workshop
Rutgers Business School-Newark, in collaboration with the P3 Collaboratory hosted The McCammon Method (Rethinking the Flipped Classroom) with Dr. Lodge McCammon. This interactive workshop provided coaching and resources for faculty and Ph.D. students across disciplines to effectively incorporate a "flipped classroom" into their pedagogical practice.
During the workshop, participants prepared to create, collaborate, move around, and reflect! Dr. McCammon discussed and modeled his research-based teaching methods. The combination of these active and efficient instructional techniques can be used by any teacher on any day to facilitate students' strengthening of their own active listening, collaboration, critical and creative thinking, and communication skills. Dr. McCammon’s colleagues demonstrated how they use these methods in their classrooms and in the workplace.

Eligibility & Expectations: All Rutgers-Newark teaching faculty (including tenure track, NTT, and PTLs) and graduate students (doctoral and masters students) were eligible to participate.
